The homeland of peaches is China. They appeared there 3000 years ago. After the conquests of Alexander the Great, the peach came to Europe, and only then spread throughout the world.
Peaches grow on trees that like hot climates. They are also grown in central Russia, but the quality of such fruits is low.
The peach tree can grow up to 8 m in height. The thin peel of the sweet fruit is covered with villi. The color depends on the variety, there are different variations: from green-white to yellow-orange. The fruits can be large – up to 10 cm in diameter, inside them there is a large seed with a kernel with an almond aroma.
